Beauty & The Beach Highlights

On January 19th, we partnered with Cathy Lee Style on her event “Beauty & The Beach'' to promote the new faces representing Kidz for a Cause in 2020. This event featured various giveaways, breakfast, a beauty bar, pop-up boutiques and a stunning fashion show.

In 2008, her beautiful daughter, Nicki Lee had to come up with a community service project for school. Since she loved singing and dancing, she decided to put on a kids’ charity concert. She ended up raising $1,100 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This became the start of Kidz for a Cause. Fast forward, now a sophomore at Duke University in North Carolina, Nicki is watching with pride as Kidz for a Cause continues with a new campaign for 2020. However, this event was not a kids event, it catered to the adults, hoping it’ll raise money to launch the 2020 KFAC Campaign.

A week before the event, we met with Cathy and her husband Darrell Lee at their beautiful Hawaii Kai home. It is here where we were introduced to the five young ladies who would be starring in the event. We photographed their headshots and group shots for the KFAC website and promotional print outs.

Beauty & The Beach was a fun event! Cathy really thought about everything and took the time to talk with guests and thank the vendors for donating their time and skills. We really enjoyed her personality and her vision; and we truly respected her trust in us to capture every moment.
